With 962 Near projects once the Project_Names were standardized and CEX addresses excluded, we found that 122 of these projects, approximately 12%, attracted users for their first interaction. This indicates a substantial level of curiosity and interest among users to explore and engage with projects within the Near ecosystem.

Out of a total of 8,831,933 Near users, an impressive 4,022,001 users engaged in their first transaction within the Near ecosystem through interaction with its projects. This means that approximately 50% of Near users are newcomers to the Near ecosystem projects, highlighting the ecosystem's ability to continually attract and onboard new users.

Starting from September 2022, we've witnessed a remarkable surge in the number of new users engaging with Near projects. Impressively, during this period, over 88% of fresh Near users opted to make their first transaction through interactions with Near projects. This suggests that projects within the Near ecosystem have become a highly attractive entry point for newcomers, offering value and engagement from the outset. The trend of robust new user adoption for Near projects has continued unabated since September 2022. On a monthly basis, more than 80% of all new users joining the Near ecosystem have chosen to kickstart their journey by interacting with these projects. This sustained level of interest showcases the enduring appeal and significance of projects within the Near ecosystem as key drivers of user onboarding and engagement.

However, the most recent data indicates a noteworthy shift. In the last month, the ratio of new users entering the Near ecosystem specifically to interact with projects has dropped dramatically, plummeting to just 6%. This sharp decline suggests a shift in user behavior or a potential change in project attractiveness.

Sweat Economy's Immense Impact

The Sweat Economy project has emerged as a powerhouse for onboarding new users into the Near ecosystem, with a staggering 3 million users conducting their first transactions through this project. This impressive user acquisition demonstrates the project's ability to effectively engage and attract a vast audience.

PlayEmber's Strong Second Place

Following closely, the PlayEmber project stands out as the second most successful in terms of new user acquisition, having brought in more than 700 million new users. This indicates its widespread appeal and potential for continued growth within the Near ecosystem.

Short-Lived Projects, Notable Impact

Projects like Realis Network and Few and Far, despite their relatively short lifespan, have recently played a significant role in attracting new users to the Near ecosystem. Their ability to draw users in a short time frame highlights their unique value propositions.

While projects like Circle, Octopus Network, and Tether have successfully attracted a considerable number of new users, the PlayEmber project has recently gained remarkable attention from new Near users, indicating substantial growth potential. This suggests that PlayEmber is becoming a focal point for users exploring the Near ecosystem.
