Aptos blockchain
Aptos is a new blockchain platform that aims to provide a fast, secure, and scalable solution for decentralized applications. Aptos is based on the Move programming language, which was originally developed by Meta (formerly Facebook) for its Diem project. Move allows developers to create smart contracts that are safe, modular, and upgradable. Aptos also uses a proof-of-stake consensus mechanism that enables high throughput and low latency transactions. Aptos claims to be the world’s most production-ready blockchain, with a peak of 5.8K transactions per second, 1.4M monthly active users, and 318M transactions as of November 2, 2023. Aptos supports various use cases, such as gaming, NFTs, social media, AI, and more.
